|  | | Shanghai Waigaoqiao Major Ro-Ro Dock Starts Service |

¡¡¡¡A large-scale specialised automobile Ro-Ro dock is to be completed and start service in Shanghai Waigaoqiao Port at the end of this year. It is located in the lower reach of Waigaoqiao Project Phase VI, and will handle an annual automobile throughput of 800,000 with its frontline stretching 600 metres.
¡¡¡¡Waigaoqiao Project Phase VI aims to develop a leading domestic logistic platform for automobile trading, integrating value-added automobile service centres, distribution centres and Ro-Ro docks together. At this moment, construction on a 600-metre frontline is nearing completion, with focus transferring onto the 120,000 m2 automobile yard. Once completed, the dock will be able to accommodate three of world¡¯s largest automobile Ro-Ro ships simultaneously. |
