¡¡¡¡Changjiang Shipping Group Phoenix is set to order six 45,000 dwt handymax bulkers from Bohai Shipbuilding Heavy Industry at a total cost of around RMB1.69 billion (USD248.8 million) as part of an ongoing expansion of its dry bulk fleet.
¡¡¡¡The shipping company, the bulker division of shipping conglomerate China Changjiang National Shipping Group, said the six vessels would be delivered between March and December 2011.
¡¡¡¡The company ordered four 92,500 dwt panamax ships from affiliated shipbuilding company, Nanjing Jinling Shipyard, six 57,300 dwt supramax vessels from Dalian Shipbuilding Industry and 10 5,000 dwt ships from other builders.
