Chen Zhenghua, Chairman of China Pilot Association, stated that up to the end of 2008, there are 36 pilot institutions are qualified in the whole country So far, China's port pilot management system reformation has been basically completed, initially setting up a fair, just order.
¡¡¡¡Chen Zhenghua pointed out, in 2008, Chinese and foreign ships were piloted 317,000 times, an increase of 6.2% year-on-year, of which 112,500 times of container ships, 56,600 times of super-large ships.
¡¡¡¡On the same day, the first "National Top Ten pilot" commendation conference was held. Top 10 pilots and 31 outstanding pilots were elected.
