April 2017, Gold Star Line Ltd have announced revamp of India Subcontinent services to introduce a more efficient coverage in order meet our customer needs. CI3, 4,& 5 the three loop services are merged into two loops from mid April giving a more stable and reliable service from North and Central China to West India, The new service will be operated with 8500teu class ships giving the industry a best in class product. GSL will operate one ship in the Central loop and continue as a vessel operator. Central Loop to be called Merged loop from now on which will offer rotation as Shanghai 每 Ningbo 每 Xiamen 每 Hong Kong 每 Chiwan 每 Singapore 每 Colombo 每 Nhava Sheva 每 Pipavav 每 Colombo 每 Port Kelang (West) 每 Singapore 每 Hong Kong 每 Shanghai, whereas the North Loop will cover Xingang 每 Dalian 每 Qingdao 每 Pusan 每 Kwangyang 每 Ningbo 每 Nansha 每 Singapore 每 Tanjung Pelepas 每Colombo 每 Nhava Sheva 每 Mundra 每 Singapore 每 Xingan The flagship CIX service jointly operated with HMM will also be upsized to 8500TEUS from 19th April , we are also adding our South East Asia hub Port Kelang on this service to maintain our customers and the exceeding demand from South East Asian Countries to Indian market. The new rotation of the service will be Kwangyang 每 Pusan 每 Shanghai 每 Ningbo 每 Shekou 每 Singapore 每 Port Kelang (West) 每 Nhava Sheva 每 Mundra 每 Karachi 每 Port Kelang (West) 每 Singapore 每 Hong Kong 每 Kwangyang. This service will continue to maintain the fastest transit time from Central China to West India , and improve the overall coverage for maintaining customer satisfaction. Chittagong service expansion from one loop to 3 loops is starting from 21st April. In the new structure GSL will provide 2 own services from Port kelang and 1 own service from Colombo to Chittagong, increasing the frequency and coverage to support the customers need with faster transit time from North Asia, China, South Asia via Port Kelang and India and Middle East via Colombo, with a fixed day service schedule we expect the customers to have faster access to their goods to and from Bangladesh and support the connection for Inter Lines and long hauls. |
