To improve operational handling, effective May 10, 2017, the Canadian Pacific Railroad will change the Port of Exit for rail cargo originating from Minneapolis, MN and Chicago, IL destined to the Port of Montreal. The new border crossing used will be BUFALLO-NIAGARA FALLS, NY (Code 0901) for US Export Customs filings. All AES / ITN¡¯s and IE Bonds need to have this point reflected for all cargo in-gating May 10, 2017 or later. The correct port code is required to facilitate the US Customs Export reporting process. |
